Open bank account

Opening a bank account is usually a simple and quick thing to do either in person or online. At a minimum you will need:

• Proof of the address that will appear on the bank account
• Your identity document or resident card (NIE)
• Fill in a form with personal details including a telephone number and/or email address.

Some entities may also request: A report of your work life or a copy of your last paycheck
