The School of Engineering of the University of Valencia (ETSE-UV) hosts the YWP Spain Conference between tomorrow Wednesday November 16 and the day 19, an initiative of the International Water Association (IWA) represented in Spain by the Spanish Water Supply and Sanitation Association (AEAS). The act aims to train a new generation of water leaders and offer support to the sector through actions aimed at under 35s.
The meeting will analyse the most recent research on topics such as water quality, innovative sampling and monitoring strategies; flood risk, desalination; impact of climate change; aquatic ecosystems; water governance; industrial wastewater treatment; mathematical modeling and simulation studies or new technologies, among others. You can participate in the YWP Spain Conference with oral presentations, micro-lectures and posters.
The initiative is organised in a large number of countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, South Africa, Australia and Mexico. In the case of the Spanish network, it was created in 2015, promoted by and with the support of the Spanish Water Supply and Sanitation (AEAS), a member of IWA, with the aim of professional development, recognition and visibility of young professionals in the water sector.
