Since the academic year 2020/2021, the School of Modern Languages of the University of Barcelona is an authorized entre to certify the CELTA and DELTA Cambridge certificates. Acadèmic The UB's School of Modern Languages ( EIM ) opens its registration for this summer's intensive language courses. This year's program includes free courses to prepare a stay abroad for those who have a mobility grant for the academic year 2022/2023 and courses to teach in English. Those students with a UB international mobility placement for the exchange program 2022/2023 can improve their language skills before mobbing to their host university, through the subsidized access to EIM's summer courses. In these cases, the School offers 50-hour language courses, which are free for those students who took the accreditation test, and cost 30 euros for the rest. The language of each course is the official language or the vernacular academic language of the host country, information stated in the resolution document of the exchange grants. If the students want to take more than 50 hours, there is the option of completing the resting 50 hours of a 100-hour intensive course (equivalent to the totality of a European level) applying the subsidy to the first 50 hours.
